Design characteristics and simulation study of ventilation system of nuclear waste plant in a nuclear power plant
Liu Jing, Hu Bei, Wang Kaiqiao, Zhang Yangang
The nuclear waste plant is characterized by many types of process rooms, complete radiation partitioning and large building volume, and it makes the ventilation system functionally diverse, complex in design and large in system. This study presents the ventilation subsystems involved in the nuclear waste plant, the temperature field and velocity field of the electrical equipment compartment with high cooling load are simulated, and the matters needing attention in air outlet layout are put forward. The flow velocity field of the narrow process compartment is studied to verify the rationality of air distribution. The optimization suggestions of ventilation system design are given to provide the reference for follow-up engineering design.
